# In-game Loots

In MHUNT, lootboxes serve as a strategic component of the gameplay, enriching the gaming experience with elements of suspense, discovery, and competition. Distributed across the map, these lootboxes contain randomized items, like weapons, armor, and health packs, crucial for survival and gaining an edge in combat.

The positioning of the lootboxes remains consistent within each round but varies across different maps. This maintains the game's unpredictability while rewarding players who can recall lootbox locations. Despite knowing their general location, the exact contents of these boxes always remain a mystery, adding an exciting layer of surprise to the game.

The number of lootboxes available is deliberately restricted, spurring players to be more proactive and strategic in their search for survival essentials. This limitation heightens the competition, as players attempt to secure these beneficial resources.

Once a player claims a lootbox, its appearance changes to a closed state despite being emptied of its contents. Sharp-eyed players can exploit this feature to discern between genuine lootboxes and empty ones, saving them time and potentially misleading opponents.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://mhnt.gitbook.io/metahunt-wp/in-game-loots.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
